MacNeal School services special education students with emotional disorders who have not been able to suceed in their regular school setting. The goal is to return students to mainstream education in either the public or private sphere. Therefore the structure of the program includes the development of skills needed for mainstream education as well as reduction/elimination of behaviors which interfere with this mission. Students attend MacNeal School year round to bolster their progress. Family support is seen as an integral part of the school program and communication takes place on a daily basis between home and school.

As members of the MacNeal School community, we strive to empower, challenge and teach our students in the spirit of a traditional and safe school setting. With the future in mind, we collaborate to restore hope, promote achievement, and create pathways for success in life.
